That’s it, now Kiken Corporation’s main HQ is near the web server… ![]()
We are still working in Buenos Aires, too, though!
We have also put up a new demoreel for 2012. Have you seen it? Head over to kikencorp.com to do so.
And send us a mail for work inquiries
Live recording of my 8GB gig in Tokyo, Japan, performed the 5th of September of 2010.
It was our 11th birthday. Pretty awesome.
You should check out some of the latest work at our Vimeo Channel
Meanwhile, statistics keep getting funnier:
If Kikencorp.com was a country, it would be larger than Pitcairn Islands with its 86 daily visitors!
If these 86 daily visitors stand hand in hand and form one long straight line, it would be 0 kilometers long.
this website uses an estimated total of $408 USD on electricity per year.
We use more electricity than the website’s worth! xD Way to go eco-friendly.
Yeah it’s been a while. No further comment to add.
Watch Japan in all its glory, and donate by buying the Chip in Japan compilation! : http://truechiptilldeath.com/japan/
A bunch of things have happened.
First and foremost, I have invited to perform at the Blip Festival, Tokyo Edition.
It’s my first time in Asia and I am pretty excited about this.
This means the new 8GB A/V set will finally be premiered and I for one can’t think of a better situation than doing it in Tokyo ![]()
If you are around, don’t hesitate to come.
I will also be playing in Kyoto at Cafe La Siesta, a classical chipmusic venue. I will make sure nobody wants to sleep a siesta or anything at all, though
I also decided to take Red October, the 8GB EP I released in Late 2008, on an independent digital release spin.
The Retinascan edition is not properly produced (as I bitched about before) and I need as much money as people can help with to fund the new A/V set and the Tokyo trip.
You can peruse the album for a voluntary donation at thew spanking new Bandcamp 8GB page I made. Help a brotehr out.

I have also designed a t-shirt for the 8bitpeoples able from New York. It will be released in these days, more news soon. You will also help me if you buy it.
That’s all from me now,
I was dragged to Boing Boing because they were talking about a software search I have had for around twenty years, when I remembered I had a participation on a chipmusic round table with BB blogger Joel Johnson, my good friend Paza Rahm and Rugar.
If you have a bunch of tens of minutes to spare, some interesting things were said back then, and you also get to hear me talk like an idiot with a ridiculous accent (which has since improved *ever so slightly*).
The main website has needed a facelift for ages (actually, 5 years). I will start to work on that soon, and with no CMS in sight, I’m tired of every website looking the same (just a CMS template).
8GB’s website will be updated too because some new stuff needs to be presented, and that means a new way of communication. That will take some more time.
Meanwhile, I try to get energy back to work on new shit, so the day-to-day routine doesn’t keep wasting my neurons. I have updated copiously the work portfolio, which you can find here.
That’s all from me now. We’re still not popular, so nobody will read this shit xD
I’ll show you what software I been trying to get into again as of late:
According to site statistics, kikencorp.com is #13,752,316 on the ranking xD
Also not worth more than 200 dollars.
We live happily somewhere in Leeds, close to the river and around the corner from an Industrial Museum. I can only imagine that we are a pauper in a corner asking for spare change, bro.
I love Internet statistics!
